Geri Sullivan<\/strong> is a Minneapolis fan now living in Central Massachusetts (one of Minneapolis’s more distant suburbs). Active in the Minn-stf<\/a> where she was both President and on the Board), conventions, and fanzines<\/a>: “mostly, I like to throw parties.” Post-supporting chair of the Minneapolis in ’73<\/a> Worldcon bid since 1984. She got involved in fandom in 1979 by meeting Emma Bull at a mundane party and talking for six hours. She lived in Toad Hall<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With\u00a0co-editors\u00a0Lee Hoffman\u00a0and\u00a0Randy Byers, she won the\u00a02007 Best Fanzine Hugo\u00a0for\u00a0Science-Fiction Five-Yearly<\/em>. Her fanzine\u00a0Idea\u00a0<\/a><\/em>is a 2024 Hugo Finalist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

She has been on many\u00a0committees, included a dozen or more\u00a0Minicons<\/a>\u00a0(chairing\u00a0Minicon 35<\/a>) and\u00a0Boskones<\/a>, many\u00a0Worldcons<\/a>,\u00a0ReinCONation<\/a>\u00a02-6,\u00a0Not-A-ReinCONation<\/a>,\u00a0D-cons<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Not-A-D-Cons<\/a>,\u00a0Corflu 6<\/a>,\u00a01993 World Fantasy Convention<\/a>. She\u00a0chaired\u00a0Smofcon 25<\/a>\u00a0and was the 2019 Trans-Atlantic Fan Fund (TAFF)<\/a> delegate to the Dublin Worldcon<\/a>. She\u2019s been actively raising money for the fan funds<\/a> ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special projects include: Minn-stf Historical Party<\/a>, Wimpy Zone Fan Fund<\/a>, Mystery Fan Fund<\/a>, Harris Fund<\/a>.
