Mass Transit Options and SchedulesLake George, about two miles from the Roaring Brook, is a vacation destination and is reachable directly via bus. Additionally, there are a few Amtrak stations within a reasonable distance, Fort Edward and Saratoga Springs being the two closest. Adirondack TrailwaysAdirondack Trailways runs a number of busses each day between Albany and Lake George as well as between NYC and Albany. The Lake George stop is in the Village of Lake George, about two miles from the Roaring Brook. We can arrange for pick up and drop off as needed. We are trying to arrange for pick up and drop off from the station, but we have to know how many people and who need this service. Please contact us via email at committee @ albacon . org if you need this service. Both Saratoga Srpings and Fort Edward are served by two trains daily, the Adirondack and the Ethan Allen Express.
